Outlook

Send from Outlook through your own domain over the Taifa Mail SMTP relay, and route incoming Outlook mail into Taifa Mail.

Send from your business domain inside Outlook desktop or web while Taifa Mail handles deliverability. Incoming mail can be forwarded into Taifa Mail for routing.

Step 1: Create SMTP credentials

  1. Verify your sending domain. See Domain setup.
  2. In the dashboard, go to Settings -> SMTP Credentials and create a credential.
  3. Copy the username and password (shown once).

Step 2: Add the account in Outlook

  1. In Outlook, go to File -> Account Settings -> Account Settings -> New (or Manage accounts on the web).
  2. Add your domain address and set the outgoing (SMTP) server to:

  1. Send a test message to confirm delivery.

Step 3 (optional): Forward incoming mail into Taifa Mail

Add an Outlook rule that forwards incoming mail to an address on your verified domain, then handle it with a forwarding rule.

A native Microsoft 365 connector with OAuth is on the roadmap.
