Notification Preferences

Choose which Taifa Mail events notify you, and on which channels.

Taifa Mail keeps you informed about what is happening in your workspace - new API keys, deliverability warnings, team changes, broadcast results. You control which of these reach you, and how.

Where notifications appear

The bell icon in the dashboard header opens the notifications drawer, with live updates as events happen. Each notification carries a category and a severity. The categories you will see include:

AlertsSecurity, deliverability and billing - new API keys, bounce and domain issues, payment outcomes, renewal reminders.
TeamWorkspace membership - invites, members joining, role changes.

Read a single notification, or use Mark all as read to clear the unread badge.

Channels

Notification preferences are stored as a per-category matrix. For each category you can independently toggle these channels:

SlackA message to a connected Slack workspace.

A category with no saved preference defaults to on across all channels, so notifications keep working even if you never open the preferences page. Only an explicit toggle-off suppresses a channel. The Web channel governs whether a notification appears in the drawer at all.

Changing your preferences

  1. Open the notifications drawer and click Notification preferences (or go to Settings).
  2. For each category, toggle the channels you want.
  3. Changes save automatically.

Preferences are per-user, not per-workspace. If you belong to several workspaces, your notification choices follow you across all of them.
